To pair with a smart home ecosystem via the matter protocol, you must have a Smart Home Hub and a Thread Border Router.
This is the model of the hub that can pair to the Amazon Alexa: Echo (4th generation).
Note:
1. Please make sure the version of the hub and Alexa APP is the newest.
2. Please make sure to use the 2.4 GHz network.
Method 1: Add the device by scanning the QR Code.
1. Open the Alexa App and tap Device on the bottom bar

2. + button in the upper left corner of Devices, select Add Device

3. Scroll to the bottom of the page, click the Other icon, click Matter

4. Click Next according to the prompt on the page, and then scan the QR code of the device to be added

Note: When selecting a router, if the dual-band function of the router is not enabled, please make sure that you are using the 2.4GHz frequency band SSID of the same router as the Echo speaker

5. The adding process will take about 30 seconds, and the lamp will flash 1 time
Method 2: Add devices with an 11-digit Code
1. Open the Alexa App and click Devices on the bottom bar
2. + button in the upper left corner of Devices, select Add Device
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page, click the Other icon, click Matter
4. Click Next according to the prompt on the page, and enter the 11-digit Code

5. When selecting a router, if the dual-band function of the router is not turned on, please make sure that you are using the 2.4GHz frequency band SSID of the same router as the Echo speaker.
6. The adding process will take about 30 seconds, and the light will flash 1 time.
